Dating during a pandemic had a unique set of obstacles to overcome.

We swiped, we texted everyday, and a month later we finally met at Lincoln Park Zoo. We’d have liked to meet sooner, but you know, it was 2020, so there were some obstacles to overcome. But once the formalities of COVID tests were exchanged, our love flourished.

 

We built our weird little family, with our zoo of creatures. Amanda brought her cat, Ellie, Sam brought Pretzel the python, and together we found Phoebe, our elderly little pooch. Traveling the world, from camping in Michigan to eating tapas in Spain, we always make it a point to have fun in our relationship, and that's what this wedding is–a reflection of what we hope our marriage to be: bright, colorful, and a damn good time.
